THE PHYSICS OF LIFE AND
THE SIGNALS THAT SHAPE US
THE SIGNALS THAT SHAPE US
Life is not just chemical.
Cells interpret and generate physical signals—mechanical, electromagnetic, and photonic—as structured sources of information to compute, remember, and repair.
Cells interpret and generate physical signals—mechanical, electromagnetic, and photonic—as structured sources of information to compute, remember, and repair.
Our research team seeks to answer, “What if health and disease are governed by the flow and interpretation of physical information?” We aim to explore life as a system of structured, patterned energy and information—where memory, function, and repair emerge from physical laws, not just molecular codes.
We combine biophysics, quantum sensing, and bioengineering to study how these signals are integrated and transduced across biological scales.

By mapping how physical signals are processed and propagated, we aim to uncover new modes of control over biological behavior. Our goal is not only to deepen our understanding of life’s underlying architectures, but to build precision technologies that interface with these native signaling systems—to reprogram disordered states, restore coherence, and expand the frontiers of what living systems can achieve.
